ChatGPT Integration with InsideSpin

As a validation of AI-augmented article writing, InsideSpin has integrated ChatGPT to help flesh out unfinished articles at the moment they are requested. If you have been a past InsideSpin user, you may have noticed not all articles are fully fleshed out. While every article has a summary, only about half are fleshed out. Decisions about what to finish has been based on user interest over the years. With this POC, ChatGPT will use the InsideSpin article summary as the basis of the prompt, and return an expanded article adding insight from its underlying model. The instances are being stored for later analysis to choose one that best represents the intent of InsideSpin which the author can work with to finalize. This is a trial of an AI-augmented approach. Email founder@insidespin.com to share your views on this or ask questions about the implementation.

When to Start

Building a successful high technology company today is clearly more challenging than it was even a decade ago. The web has altered the operational paradigm of so many facets of corporate structure, culture, and communication. Executive teams feel like they can’t afford extended time to sit back and decide how to evolve – in a planned way – the core components of a business plan. The fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants scenario is more common. It’s not surprising to see companies rise and fall as quickly as they do, given the chaos that can result from off-the-cuff approaches to management.

Establishing product management excellence early in a corporate growth cycle should be a key CEO-led goal. Product management needs to grow with a company to be a key contributor to its success rather than its absence identified as a leading cause of its failure. This article explores alternative ways to establish product management early in the growth of your business, how to sustain it over time, and perhaps most importantly, how to retrofit it if not currently present (or formalized).

The Evolving Landscape of Technology Businesses

The landscape of technology businesses has undergone significant transformations driven largely by advancements in digital infrastructure and changing consumer expectations. The rapid pace of technological innovation means that businesses must adapt quickly or risk obsolescence. This environment creates both opportunities and challenges.

However, integrating product management early can yield significant long-term benefits.

Strategies for Early Implementation

Sustaining Product Management Over Time

As the company grows, maintaining effective product management becomes increasingly crucial. The dynamics of a larger organization can complicate product development, making it vital to sustain a focus on product excellence.

Best Practices for Sustaining Product Management

Retrofitting Product Management

For companies that have not yet formalized their product management approach, retrofitting can be a complex but necessary endeavor. It requires a shift in mindset and culture but can lead to improved outcomes.

Steps to Retrofit Product Management
